Novelgen Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Nagahama, Shiga Prefecture; Representative Director: Atsushi Ogura) will participate in “AgriFood SBIR Pitch & Matching 2026,” to be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Tokyo Midtown Yaesu Conference (Chuo-ku, Tokyo).
This event brings together R&D-type startups and others in the agriculture, forestry, fisheries and food fields to give pitches presenting cutting-edge technology seeds and business plans, and provides opportunities for matching with investors and lenders, joint research partners and business collaboration partners. It is held as part of the “Comprehensive Startup Support Program (SBIR Support)” operated by the Bio-oriented Technology Research Advancement Institution (BRAIN), and many startups drawing attention in Japan's agri-foodtech field will speak.
We will give a presentation on our technology and business concept concerning a water purification and carbon dioxide fixation technology using microalgae and a high-value-added land-based aquaculture system, aiming to strengthen collaboration with industry partners and support organizations.
On the day, matching and networking with the various presenting teams are also scheduled. Through this event, we will work on expanding business opportunities and promoting co-creation in the agri-food field.
