Bloomo
An all-in-one unit for algal bloom control
An algae cultivation and supply system that brings together IoT sensing and AI control. It serves both aquaculture and water treatment, optimising everything from strain selection through cultivation management to supply in a single package.

Two application categories
Bloomo for aquaculture
Aquaculture Edition
A system for the steady supply of live algae that maximises growth efficiency for shellfish, crustaceans and fish. It adjusts the optimal algal blend per species automatically, reducing the cost of rearing.
- ✓ Automatic selection of the optimal species and control of cultivation conditions
- ✓ Continuous cultivation with real-time density monitoring
- ✓ Automatic feedback control of temperature, light and CO₂
- ✓ Dashboard visualising rearing logs
Bloomo for water treatment
Water Treatment Edition
Algae are grown in bulk in eutrophic waters and wastewater, recovering nitrogen and phosphorus while purifying the water at the same time. The recovered biomass then becomes a resource in its own right.
- ✓ Simultaneous recovery of nitrogen, phosphorus and organics
- ✓ Continuous water-quality monitoring of treated water
- ✓ Automatic biomass harvesting and discharge mechanism
- ✓ LCA assessment report output
Core technology
Algal strain library
Our own library for selecting species suited to local water quality
IoT sensing
Real-time measurement of pH, DO, turbidity and temperature
AI control
Learning algorithms optimise cultivation conditions automatically
Resource recovery
Harvested biomass converted into fertilizer and feed
The evidence behind it
Bloomo rests on the academic foundations of microalgal water purification (assimilation of NH₄⁺/PO₄³⁻), high-nutrient biomass production (40–70 wt% protein, ω-3 fatty acids and more) and photobioreactor (PBR/MPBR) technology. Specific removal efficiencies, feed values and operating parameters are reported in the peer-reviewed literature below.
